My mom said: We both liked Julie and Julia a lot and recommend it to everyone.  I liked the Amy Adams character a lot.  The review in the DMN trashed her, but I thought she was very real, more accessible than Julia.  Of course, Meryl Streep is Julia.  It makes you want to go right out and buy Mastering the Art of French Cooking.  Definitely made me want to make floating island.  I love floating island.  Maybe you should name the baby Meryl, Amy.  Much better than Guida. (Note from Amy, it is Giada, not Guida!)

Kate and Amy are so busy that I will pass on a little information about their doings.  Amy went to the doctor this week and had a very good report.  Her baby is a good size – not too big and not too little and is moving around quite a lot.  She is overwhelmed with work.  I think all the good things about vacations disappear when you have to catch up afterward.
